AVIS Car Rental Destinations in Spain

We would have appreciated sited some support with GPS on pickup. We arrived after 36hrs travel from Australia heading to Salamanca city with a GPS in Spanish. Eventually we worked out how to change it to English but a lot of time was wasted trying to do so.

I wish companies would not rent incredibly complex cars with no instructions whatsoever of how all the stuff works. In fact_ ours was a plugin hybrid--they did not tell us that; we could not use the plugin at stations (must have an account first)_ and it_s a poor choice for long trips (small gas tank and poor mileage due to its weight). How about a normal small to mid-sized car that_s easy to drive?
